Defect Details:

Extensive external corrosion over a complete 10m joint length also affecting a girth weld location.


Repair Application:

Pipeline was grit blasted to a SA 2.5 surface preparation. Clock Spring was installed using a fully trained installation crew utilising the spool feeder technique. (A minimum of 6” clearance was available underneath the pipe).


Repair Time:

The complete repair application was completed in 3 work shifts.
