Transmission pipelines are the most common type of repair that utilize Clock Spring products. Clock Spring products repair product, crude, and gas pipelines across a variety of pressure and temperature ranges. Documented approvals are in place for many national regulatory authorities and also for most company specific approval systems.
Clock Spring composite products repair offshore platform pipe defects above and below the waterline. To date, we have successfully deployed thousands of Clock Spring repairs on both shallow- and deep-water platforms. Our products have been been installed by underwater robots.
Clock Spring’s repair and reinforcement systems are used in tank farms and terminals world-wide. Our solutions are especially useful for soil-to-air interfaces, at pipe support locations, in areas of tight clearance, and where complex geometries are involved.
Clock Spring’s products have been used in plants and refineries worldwide. Our Contour product is perfect for repairing odd geometries, bends, flanges, and tees. Our Snap Wrap and Pipe Support products also have a variety of uses in these process facilities including corrosion mitigation and prevention. We additionally offer temporary leak repair solutions to keep units in operation until the next turnaround.
The petrochemical industry utilizes various types of pipe. Many of these steel grades and diameters are excellent candidates for repairs made with Clock Spring products.
Since flare lines are exposed the environment, they often suffer extensive external corrosion and mechanical damage. It is not uncommon for repairs to be hundreds of meters in length.
Clock Spring has repaired potable, non-potable, and waste water lines.
