Clock Spring Expert Tackles the Cost of Corrosion at PPIM 2018

New products mitigate lost revenue from corrosion

(Houston) – Clock Spring Company, LP (Clock Spring), the world’s leading manufacturer of permanent and temporary composite pipeline and pipe work repair solutions, is sharing its expertise on corrosion and composite solutions at the 2018 Pipeline Pigging & Integrity Management (PPIM) Conference.

Clock Spring Senior Sales Engineer Bart Davis will quantify the cost of corrosion and demonstrate the value of composite solutions in the final session of the day at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, January 31.

“We are excited about the opportunity to share our research and our insights with the broader pipeline community,” says Clock Spring CEO and President Matt Boucher. “Clock Spring has built a portfolio of economical and sustainable pipeline integrity solutions that reduces installation variables and improves safety, and we are looking forward to discussing our technology and our innovative products at PPIM.”

“Understanding how corroded pipe can jeopardize production and safety is critically important,” Davis says. “Our goal is to share our understanding of corrosion and its consequences and explain how that knowledge has been used to develop sustainable solutions.”

Clock Spring products repair and rehabilitate pipe without the need for hot work and overhead lifting. The company’s engineered repair solutions are fabricated in a controlled environment and delivered to the work site ready to install, a practice that allows Clock Spring to manage many of the variables that could otherwise lead to subpar performance and worksite injury.

Davis and a team of Clock Spring experts will be available at Booth 431 to explain the company’s product offerings and services.

The 30th international PPIM conference is an annual four-day pigging and pipeline integrity event organized by Clarion Technical Conferences and Tiratsoo Technical. This year’s conference will draw an estimated 2,200 maintenance and repair professionals.
