The Clock Spring® Pipe Repair System was initially tested by the Gas Technology Institute (GTI). The GTI conducted numerous tests on Clock Spring® sleeves of various sizes, simulating a 50 year life span. Upon completion of the testing, the Department of Transportation deemed Clock Spring® a permanent repair with a life of at least 50 years. Below are links to the GRIWrap - a Microsoft Excel based program designed to help determine the suitability of a Clock Spring® repair. Clock Spring Company, L.P. hopes this tool will be extremely useful in the determination of whether a repair can be made with Clock Spring®.
